A carbon steel knife is a reflection of the maker and the user. As you use this knife it will slowly develop a unique patina that will prevent corrosion and add to the beauty of the blade.
Care is as simple as wiping it dry when you’re done using it and cleaning with mild soap and water when needed. Mineral oil is food safe a can prevent rust. Axe Wax, and Wicked Wax are both great if you intend to store your knife for an extended period or put it on display.
